The people who jump
They stand above the world.
Heavy breath held in their chest,
along with an empty heart aching for silence.
Their eyes see darkness below,
A pit,
Seeping ooze and matter with no matter.
To them.
But as time is cast back and the wind caresses,
almost guides their face down,
This darkest crud their eyes are held to
Reflects the stars they had never thought to look to
The stars now filling their lungs
With regret to the world they
never
Truly
Saw.
